Toné Compito is a native of New York City who now resides in the Baltimore/DC area. Although she mainly has made her living in the business world, her passion had always been music ever since she could remember.
She is deeply involved in the music community locally, nationally and internationally, having made connections over the years worldwide through her various projects, including being part of the administrative staff at the Victor Wooten Bass/Nature Camps since 2001.
In 2015, she produced her first Bass Bash concert during Winter NAMM in Anaheim and has been producing the show ever since. She was honored to pick up that torch and become a continuing part of an ongoing tradition in the Bass Community bringing some of the world’s most inspiring bassists and their current projects to the stage during NAMM.

She has most recently been the bass player and background vocalist for an all-female Beatles tribute band, The SHEatles, Wicked Jezebel, and the Women of Motown & Soul.
Among the many hats she wears, Toné has also taught piano and theory over the years. She is a sales representative for Adamovic custom bass guitars and FBass.
Toné is a Ducati enthusiast and can be spotted on her Ducati Monster 1100 most weekend mornings. Her best friend is her daughter Shauna, who has also blessed her with a grandson, Joe, named after her late brother Joe Compito.
